SummarieS R.Matkovs'kyy Theoretical foundations of the analysis of mezzo-economic systems The main theoretical problems of mezzo-economic system designing have been analyzed in this article. For this purpose, the system theory, synergetic and homeostatic approaches, the main principles of dialectics (especially principle contradiction) have been used. Mezzo-systems (including economical ones) have been analyzed as ways (methods) to reach the macro-goal (in a selected scale). Structure of mezzo-economic system, processes, goals, functions, typology and the main stages of mezzo-systems designing have been revealed.
B.Stepanenko Conceptual approaches to the notion "green business" The author defines the notion "green business". Theoretical and methodological principles of functioning of this type of economic activity are reflected. Basic aspects and main development stages of green business are described. The classification of green business enterprise is revealed.
S.Shums'ka Development of the world banking industry and the systemic crisis of 2008–2010 The author shows key tendencies of the development of money as the starting point for changes in the structure and development of the world financial system. The investigation reveals the main development tendencies of the banking industry during the pre-crisis period and formulates various regularities as to the macro-economic pre-conditions and regulation policies during systemic banking crises. The article considers the main guidelines of anti-crisis measures to stabilize the situation in the banking sphere during the systemic crisis.
I.Zapatrina Public-private partnership in Ukraine: the prospects of use to realize infrastructural projects and provide public services The author analyzes the world experience of the realization projects based on public-private partnership, considers the possibilities of and assesses the potential of the use of this instrument to realize infrastructure projects and provide public services in Ukraine. Also, she justifies the need of state support in this sphere, defines the role of science in the development of public-private partnership and proposes urgent guidelines to conduct scientific research on those issues.
V.Kornivs'ka Financial and institutional ASPECTS of the economic cooperation between Ukraine and Russia The article provides the results of an investigation on the institutional space of Ukraine and Russia in the context of analysis of the level of trust in the leading institutions of the financial market. The author presents a comparative analysis of the efficiency of the legal environment of the two countries as to the protection of rights of the consumers of financial services and justifies the need of the formation of uniform criteria for operational activity on the financial markets of both countries in order to avoid disproportional liquidity flows.
A.Stepanenko Independence of the central bank as the main factor of its activities The author reveals the advisability of the central bank’ independence and its influence on the adaptivity of a national banking system. It is established that independence of the central bank objectively depends on the government’s long term monetary policy.
O.Popova, L.Pankratova, M.Betliy Social and ecological parameters of the activities of agricultural enterprises: differentiation by economic classes The article investigates socio-ecological parameters of agricultural enterprises, which differ by sales volume (economic class) and economic efficiency. For that purpose, the authors analyze a statistical base of a big array of enterprises with the use of the method of statistical grouping. The article disproves the settled opinion that enterprises with higher economic results better solve ecologo-social tasks.
Ye.Alimpiev Modeling financial-monetary transmission in the economy The article analyzes opportunities of studying fiscal and monetary transmission with the use of vector autoregressive models. The author examines peculiarities and interactions of fiscal and monetary transmission channels in the economy of Ukraine. It is step-by-step shown how to select, process and test time series of macroeconomic data in order to create a vector autoregressive model. The author reveals the impact of fiscal and monetary shocks on the evolution of output and prices in Ukraine.
M.Dovbenko A.BUrns’ cyclical indicators as an instrument of economic forecasting The article in dedicated to life and scientific activities of the talented researcher of business cycles A.Burns (1904–1987), and his composite outstripping indicators, which have been an essential tool in the prevision of business cycles for almost 80 years. The author emphasizes the urgent character of A.Burns’ definition of economic cycle as a specific type of fluctuations in the government’s economic activities. Also, very urgent is the issue of the role of cyclical transformations, inherent in the process of reproduction. |
