Ukrainian Socium
The journal is recognized as a specialized edition on sociological sciences by the Highest Attestation Commission of Ukraine (HACU) (Decision of the Presidium of HACU No. 3-05/11 on December 15, 2004). The journal publishes the scientific works of domestic scientists, researchers, lecturers, post-graduates, and experts in the field of sociology, economy, and political sciences, as well as the materials most interesting from the scientific viewpoint. Publisher of the journal "Ukrainian Socium" is the public organization "O. Yaremenko Ukrainian Institute of Social Research". Founders are the Ministry on Affairs of Families, Youth, and Sport of Ukraine, State Institute of Development of Families and Youth, Ukrainian Institute of Social Research, Center "Social monitoring", Institute of Demography and Social Research of the NAS of Ukraine, Institute of Economy and Prognostication of the NAS of Ukraine, and Kyiv International University. TO THE FORM OF MANUSCRIPTS SUBMITTED The manuscripts should be submitted on a floppy disk (by the computer setting in text editors with the use of standard types) or be send by e-mail. The text must be set up by the 13th point with interval 1.5. The size of top, bottom, and right margins should be 20 mm, and that of left ones - 25 mm. The volume of the text should be 8-15 pages. The manuscripts, which correspond to the requirements of the Decision of the Presidium of HACU on January 15, 2003 No. 7-05/1 "On the enhancement of the requirements to specialized editions introduced to the lists of HACU", will be published. The manuscript must be obligatorily supplemented by
• abstract (in Ukrainian, its volume is 2-3
sentences, 1 paragraph) with a brief information about the content of the
manuscript;
HOW YOU CAN GET UP THE SUBSCRIPTION Step 1. Fill legibly all the places of the application, by indicating clearly the address to which you wish to receive the journal. Step 2. Mail the filled application to the address: Editorial Board of “Ukrainian Socium,” 26, Off. 211 (block Ŕ), Panas Myrnyi Str., Kyiv 01011, Ukraine or send e-mail: ukr_soc@email.ua; uisr@ukrnet.net, or fax (044) 501-50-76; 280-83-05. As your application will be got, the account amounting to the price of the required issues of the journal will be sent to you.
Step 3. Pay the account and send
the subscription receipt copy by mail or by fax to the Editorial Board. In 2008, it is planned to print one issue of the journal every 3 months. Price: How can you get the journal? Each issue is mailed by a registered letter. The post-office will deliver the journal to you at the indicated address.
