Master’s Courses
(The Magistratura)
The Institute pays great attention to the training of
scholars of highest qualification by offering the courses of studies for
Doctoral degree and strives to provide the best possible conditions for the
integration of academic and higher education (university) sectors of science,
heightening the level of specialized education in the field of Economics,
individual training of the highly qualified specialists for further academic,
teaching and research work within the systems of NAS and Ministry of Education
and Science of Ukraine, in the research institutions of specific fields of
science and in the enterprises of Ukraine.
Enjoying strong academic potential and developed lecturing
and research infrastructure, the Institute was licensed in 2008 to provide
education and training services for Master’s level of qualification in the
Specialty ¹ 8.050104 “Finances” (30 students, studies held in the form of
lectures). License AB ¹ 420522 of 29.09.2008 was granted to the Institute by the
Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
The faculty of the Institute is currently represented by 1
Fellow (Full Member) of NAS of Ukraine, 3 Members of NAS of Ukraine, 12 Honorary
Scholars and Researchers of Ukraine, 31 Professors Emeritus of Economics, 65
Associate Professors and Senior Research Fellows.

The Course is 1 year long, form of studies – lectures.
Alumni of the university Departments of Economics are
invited.
Hostels for the students are available for all the period of
studies.
Lectures of the Master’s Course are given by the highly
qualified scholars of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, specialists form
the leading universities and government bodies of this country, scholars from
Germany and Hungary.
Theoretical studies are combined with practical research and
internships (internships at leading foreign academic institutions are available
for the students showing academic excellence).
Recommendations for Doctoral Courses of Studies at the
Institute of Economics and Forecasting of NAS of Ukraine and the Universities of
Kiev, Kharkov, Odessa and Donetsk are given to the Masters who won highest
academic scores.
